Why is Steinfeld doing on the set of Ant-Man 3?
The two next MCU films that are a part of Phase Four have already finished filming. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is already in post-production after going through reshoots earlier this year. The same goes for Thor: Love and Thunder, where Natalie Portman is expected to reprise her role as a bulkier Jane Foster. Meanwhile, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently stuck due to one of its stars refusing to get vaccinated for COVID-19. With that said, only filming for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is currently in full swing, which is probably why it was so easy for Midgard Times to spot and report that Steinfeld was seen on the set of the upcoming MCU movie. Naturally, audiences have begun speculating about a potential role for Steinfeld’s character, Kate Bishop, in the threequel. It’s worth noting that the third Ant-Man film will feature another newcomer in Kathryn Newton as an older Cassie Lang. In the comics, both Bishop and Lang are founding members of Young Avengers, a group of super-powered teenagers who admired the Avengers and decide to follow in the footsteps of their idols. Furthermore, these two aren’t the only MCU characters that we’ve seen or are about to see to have ties with the Young Avengers in the comic books. Wanda Maximoff’s twin sons, Billy and Tommy, are better known as Wiccan and Speed, respectively. Both might make an appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Speaking of, the same film will also bring in Miss America. Finally, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier officially brought in Eli Bradley, who, in the comics, took after his super-soldier Granddad, Isaiah Bradley, as the Patriot. Unfortunately, it will take a while before we start to see Marvel Studios’ plans come to fruition. In the meantime, audiences can follow Kate Bishop’s adventures with Clint Barton in Hawkeye. As for Ant-Man: and the Wasp: Quantumania, the movie will hit theaters on July 28, 2023, following a slight delay.
