More games always lead to more fun to be had, but it does lead to some pretty interesting questions. Case in point, what happens with your CoD points? How do they work now across, not only multiple platforms, but also multiple Call of Duty games? Read on below to find out.
Available Call of Duty Games and Platforms
Now, before anything else, let’s talk about all the available Call of Duty games right now, as well as their platforms. There are currently three Call of Duty titles out right now: Modern Warfare (2019), Warzone, and Black Ops Cold War. Warzone and Black Ops Cold War are available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC. Modern Warfare (2019) is limited to PS4, Xbox One and PC only.
How CoD Points Work Right Now
With that cleared up, here are some known factors when it comes to COD points:
You are free to transfer CoD points between all three Call of Duty titles. This means that all points you bought in Modern Warfare will carry over to Black Ops Cold War. This also extends to the older Call of Duty title, WWII. You are not allowed to transfer CoD points between different platforms. This means that your points for Warzone on the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 will not carry over to your Warzone on the PC or Xbox One or Xbox Series S or X. However, your points for Warzone on the PlayStation 4 will carry over to your PlayStation 5 and vice versa.
Hopefully, this helps clear up some of the possible confusions that you might have regarding how CoD points work right now.
