How to Participate in the Event

The Midsummer Island Adventure started with update 1.6 and will end on June 28, 2021, server time. Before you can participate in the event, you have to be at least Adventurer Rank 21 or above, finish Prologue: Act III and have finished Klee’s story quest. You will get a quest called “Mysterious Islands: Journey to the Unknown” which you have to complete to unlock the new Archipelago region.

Act I- Main Cannon, Make Ready… Fire!

As you arrive at the Golden Archipelago Island, you find a Waverider that can help you travel across the Islands. Aside from facilitating travel, the Waverider can also launch an attack that will destroy enemies and towers. Some enemies are protected by a barrier, and you have to target the explosive barrels around their tower to bring the barrier down. Defeating enemies and destroying towers will give you Flotsam, which can help you complete the challenge and buy items in the event shop.

Get 200 Shiny Flotsam: 30 Primogems, 20,000 Mora, and 1 Waverider Repair Toolbox that you can use to repair your Waverider. Get 1,000 Shiny Flotsam: 30 Primogems, 20,000 Mora Get 2,000 Shiny Flotsam: 30 Primogems, 20,000 Mora Defeat 30 enemies on a Floating Tower:2 Hero’s Wit, 20,000 Mora Defeat 60 enemies on a Floating Tower:2 Hero’s Wit, 20,000 Mora Destroy 5 Wind Barriers: 2 Hero’s Wit, 20,000 Mora

Act II- Whirlpool off to Starboard… Full Speed Ahead!

The second act of the Midsummer Island Adventure event tests your helmsmanship. The challenge has multiple courses and you must navigate your Waverider to the finish line before the timer runs out. You will also find multiple Wavesplitter Insignias, which look like coins, that you can collect to get more points. You can also get a speed boost if you navigate your Waverider through the Wavefront Girdles, so take advantage of them to get to the finish line quickly. You can also defeat enemies using the heavy cannon of your Waverider to get more Wavesplitter Insignias, further increasing your score.

Skipper’s Savvy

Location: Near the triple island in Broken Isle. Points and Rewards:

Act III- Samurai Sighted… To Arms!

After completing a cutscene quest, you will find yourself face to face with a new monster called Maguu Kenki. Defeating this monster multiple times will give you multiple rewards. You can also get the ascension materials for the upcoming character “Kazuha” by defeating this monster.

Act IV - Harpastum Bombs Loaded… Blow Em Away!

Harpastum Bombs Loaded is the final chapter in the Midsummer Island Adventure event. You can craft three different bombs on the Minacious Isle and you are going to use these bombs to defeat groups of enemies that will appear on the map. Defeating these enemies will grant you a Mini “Harpastum” which is another currency that you can use to buy items in the Event Shop.

How to Use the 3 Different Bombs

You can only unlock the Harpastum challenge and bomb crafting after completing the quest called “The Final Riddle: A Secret Uncovered”. Once you finish this quest, you can go to the crafting bench on the Mincious Isle to craft the bombs. You will need a Flaming Flower for all of the bombs. Below are some of the other materials you need for creating the bombs and their effects. 20 Straight Shooter How to Craft: 1 Flaming Flower Stamen, 1 Lizard Tail This bomb is great for single target enemies because it is easy to control and deals a huge amount of Pyro damage on a single opponent. 20 Floaty Splody How to Craft:1 Flaming Flower Stamen, 1 Luminescent Spine. Floaty Splody is a bomb that deals AoE Pyro damage to enemies, making them great for multiple enemies. However, the bomb can be hard to control. 20 Hot Pod How to Craft:1 Flaming Flower Stamen, 1 Frog. The Hot Pod is a bomb that is filled with Pyro energy and using this bomb will deal consistent Pyro damage on a small area. This bomb is great for breaking Cryo shields.

Event Shop Exchange

There are two event shops that you can use to buy items like Talent Level-up Materials and a new weapon for Klee called “Dodoco Tales”. You can collect Shiny Flotsam by defeating enemies on Act I, and you can get Mini “Harpastum” by clearing monster camps in Act IV. You can then use these currencies to exchange items on the Event Shop.

Summary

The Midsummer Island Adventure is an exclusive event in Version 1.6. Completing the challenges will earn you multiple rewards such as primogems and Talent Level-up Materials, and you can only get the “Dodoco Tales” Catalyst weapon and its refinement materials by participating in this event. The Golden Archipelago, which is the region you need to explore in this event, will not be available after version 1.6.
