Yes. If you haven’t been able to keep up with the latest Star Wars spin-off to hit Disney Plus, Ewan McGregor’s been back as the popular Jedi Master for a while now. Unfortunately, the delayed initial release date confused fans. After launching with two episodes on May 27, a Friday, audiences expected the rest to arrive every succeeding Friday, but that isn’t what happened. Episode 3 of Obi-Wan Kenobi dropped on June 1, Wednesday, confusing fans who thought that each new episode would drop on June 3, Friday. Having said that, we’re here to provide some clarification. In Obi-Wan Kenobi’s case, Disney+ continues to follow the more traditional release, but the delay led to some confusion. In its initial announcement, Disney confirmed that Obi-Wan Kenobi would come out on May 25. Unfortunately, the premiere was pushed back by two days to May 27. However, outside of the first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi, the rest haven’t been delayed at all; the three remaining episodes will come out every Wednesday until June 22. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, we’re hoping that you’ll be able to follow Obi-Wan Kenobi more closely. So far, the three first three episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi have had a lot of success. The first two, in particular, set a new Disney Plus record. The show, which is set during a relatively blank period between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, explores Obi-Wan Kenobi’s attempt to survive a relatively Jedi-less world. In addition to McGregor, it also brings back another familiar face in Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader with James Earl Jones providing the voice. Speaking of Star Wars, there’s more coming after Obi-Wan Kenobi. Andor is coming next on August 31 with Tales of the Jedi set for a fall release with Liam Neeson coming back to voice Qui-Gon Jinn.
